Coye Farmer, and the Blue Mountain Boys.

My Dad was, Coye Farmer and with his cousin, James Thedford Whitaker had a band called the Blue Mountain Boys. They played the background music for Jimmy Skinner, Joe Cannonball Lewis, L.C.Angel, Charles Seitz, ,Elmer Rader, and many others.They appeared in two song books 1953, 1954,appeared on the Mid western Hayride on WLW T, in Cincinati Ohio. They also played on several radio stations, including Jimmy Skinners show.  Over the years, many people followed the band and with the Addition of Joe Cannonball Lewis became more popular. My Dad  passed away in 1980, his cousin died before him, and Joe died in 2000. They brought real country music to this area, and will forever be missed.
